By using TikItDown you agree to these terms. They keep the service free, fair and safe for everyone.

1. The service

TikItDown is a free web tool that lets you download the source file of public TikTok and Douyin videos. We provide it as-is, without warranties, and we may change or pause features at any time.

2. Acceptable use

• Use TikItDown only for links to videos you are allowed to download and reuse.
• Respect creators' rights: their videos and audio remain their property.
• Do not use TikItDown to scrape content at scale, to bypass platform restrictions, or for any unlawful purpose.
• Do not attempt to overload, reverse engineer or abuse the service.

3. What we can and cannot download

Only public videos are retrievable. Private, friends-only or deleted videos cannot be downloaded through TikItDown - and we will not help circumvent that. Livestreams cannot be fetched after the fact.

4. Intellectual property

"TikItDown" and the site design are ours. TikTok, Douyin and related names are trademarks of their respective owners; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok Inc. or ByteDance.

5. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TikItDown is not liable for damages arising from use of the service, including download failures, file quality, or any use you make of downloaded content. You use the service at your own risk.

6. Changes

We may update these terms; the latest version always lives on this page. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
