About TikItDown

TikItDown is a free online downloader for TikTok and Douyin videos. Paste a link, press download, and get the original video - no watermark, no app, no account, no cost.

What we do

TikItDown fetches the public source file of a TikTok or Douyin video and hands it to you as a clean MP4 (or MP3, or the individual photos from a slideshow). We do not re-encode, re-compress or re-render anything - the file you save is the file the creator published, minus the watermark overlay.

Why we built TikItDown

Most downloader sites are wall-to-wall ads, pop-ups and fake download buttons, and many re-encode videos to cover for a slower backend. We built the tool we wanted to use: instant, clean, private and honest about what it can and cannot download. The whole flow takes seconds, works on any browser, and never asks for an account.
