Short version: TikItDown does not create accounts, does not track you across the web, and does not keep a history of your downloads. Here is exactly what happens with the data involved in using the service.

What we process

When you paste a video link, it is sent to our server only to fetch the public video source. The link and its metadata are held in memory for the duration of the request and are not written to any permanent store. Download history is never saved.

What we do not collect

• No accounts, names, emails or phone numbers - you can use TikItDown fully anonymously.
• No analytics that follow you across other websites.

Server logs

Like any web service, our servers record basic request metadata (IP address, user agent, requested page, timestamps) for operational and abuse-prevention purposes. These logs are kept for a short retention period and are not used for profiling or advertising.

Advertising

TikItDown may display third-party advertisements served by Google AdSense or other advertising networks. These advertisers may use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites on the internet. This allows them to provide advertisements that are more relevant to your interests.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

We do not have access to or control over the cookies that third-party advertisers use. Their use of data is governed by their own privacy policies.

Third parties
